My name is Kimberly Laurie.  I am the Speech-Language Pathologist for Carberry Elementary school and the Middle school.  I am currently in the district on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and half days in the morning on Thursdays.  If you would like to contact me regarding speech or language services or any questions you may have, you can call Carberry Elementary school or call me directly at (208) 866-1435.  Please feel free to email me as well at klaurie@isd221.net.  Speech and language services are provided free of charge to students who qualify following an evaluation.  If you have concerns regarding your child's speech and/or language services please feel free to contact me or your child's teacher to request an evaluation.

SPEECH (Articulation)-The ability to speak distinctly and connectedly.  Articulation or speech disorders are incorrect productions of speech sounds including omissions, distortions, substitutions, and/or additions that may interfere with intelligibility.

LANGUAGE-a language impairment exists when there is a disorder or delay in the development of comprehension (understanding) and/or the use of spoken or written language.
